Terms of Service
These terms describe the baseline rules for using botYguard's website, portal, and AI agent governance services.
Effective date: July 10, 2026
1. Agreement and Service
These Terms apply to your use of botYguard websites, portals, software, APIs, hosted agents, MCP-connected workflows, documentation, and related services. By using botYguard, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.
botYguard provides controls for AI agent governance, including policy enforcement, approval workflows, secret handling, privacy redaction, integrations, usage visibility, and audit evidence.
2. Accounts and Authority
You must provide accurate account and tenant information and keep account credentials, session access, provider credentials, integration grants, and agent keys secure. If you use botYguard for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization and manage the relevant users, agents, data, integrations, and workflows.
You are responsible for all activity under your account, tenant, agents, credentials, integrations, and configured policies unless caused by botYguard's breach of these Terms.
3. Customer Content and Configuration
You may submit, connect, generate, or configure content through botYguard, including prompts, messages, policies, approvals, logs, tool-call requests, workflow outputs, credentials, redaction terms, integration metadata, and agent configuration. You retain responsibility for that content and for ensuring that you have all rights and permissions needed to provide it to botYguard and connected services.
You control how your agents, policies, approvals, and integrations are configured. Generated policy drafts, agent outputs, workflow summaries, and audit explanations may be incomplete or incorrect and must be reviewed before use in sensitive workflows.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use botYguard for illegal, harmful, abusive, or unauthorized activity.
- Do not bypass, disable, or interfere with policy, approval, audit, redaction, authentication, rate-limit, or tenant isolation controls.
- Do not access or attempt to access accounts, tenants, agents, credentials, integrations, systems, logs, or data without authorization.
- Do not use botYguard to violate laws, export controls, sanctions, contracts, provider terms, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other third-party rights.
- Do not copy, resell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or misuse botYguard except as allowed by law or a written agreement.
- Do not submit malware, exploit code, unlawful content, or data that you are not permitted to process through botYguard or connected providers.
- Do not misrepresent AI-generated, agent-generated, or workflow-generated output as human-generated when that distinction is material.
5. Integrations and Third-Party Services
botYguard may connect to third-party services such as Google Workspace, Discord, identity providers, model providers, MCP clients, hosting platforms, email services, and other tools you configure. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies, and botYguard is not responsible for third-party systems outside our control.
You are responsible for confirming that each integration, credential, scope, consent grant, and provider account may be used for the workflow you configure.
6. AI and Agent Output
AI agents and model providers may produce inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, or non-unique output. botYguard helps govern agent access and record decisions, but it does not guarantee that an agent's request, output, tool result, policy draft, or workflow summary is correct or appropriate for your use case.
Do not rely on AI or agent output as a sole source of truth, legal advice, security advice, compliance advice, financial advice, medical advice, or another professional judgment. Use human review where the impact warrants it.
7. Suspension and Changes
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to botYguard if we believe use of the service violates these Terms, creates security risk, may harm botYguard or others, or must be limited to comply with law or provider requirements. We may also update, change, or discontinue parts of the service as the product, integrations, deployment model, or security requirements evolve.
8. Feedback and Service Improvement
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you allow botYguard to use them without restriction or compensation. We may use operational, diagnostic, security, and usage information to maintain, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
9. Disclaimers
botYguard is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent allowed by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
botYguard does not promise that every threat, policy error, integration issue, agent behavior, or unauthorized action will be detected or prevented.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, botYguard will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost goodwill, lost data, or business interruption. Any aggregate liability will be limited to the greater of the amounts paid to botYguard for the service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.
11. Indemnity
If you use botYguard for a business or organization, you will defend and indemnify botYguard from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your integrations, your workflows, your violation of these Terms, or your unlawful use of botYguard.
12. General Terms
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of assets. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms may be updated from time to time, and continued use of botYguard after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
